SCROLLING CAPTURE
Scrolling screenshots on a Mac, checked against the page.
Taller than the screen, and honest about it. Behind the film strip sits a verdict, written to the support log, so you can know whether the capture proved the whole page or only did its best. Chromium and Electron windows, whose scrollbars expose nothing to read, can be followed through the document's own geometry when it is available.
HOW TO

Press Control Shift 9 and click the window you want. Gamendori scrolls it for you, which needs the Accessibility permission: the welcome guide offers it, and the capture asks again only if it is still missing.

Let it scroll. The film strip is the progress bar, and the total keeps its tilde while it is still an estimate. Click or press Escape to end the capture where you are.

The capture is saved to the Desktop and copied to the clipboard, like any capture, and the on-device scan for emails, cards, keys, and faces runs when the queue allows.
THE VERDICT
Written to the support log whenever a scrolling capture is delivered. A partial capture also raises an alert; a file that could not be written or encoded raises its own.
Earned, in exactly those words in the support log, only when every seam proved itself in the pixels, the ledger accounted for every row, and the page's own accessibility account corroborated the seams and the end: verified complete (AX-corroborated). The file saves under a plain name with no verdict alert.
The capture ended without outside proof of the whole. A capture you end yourself, by a click or Escape, is always best effort; a capture that found its own end is best effort when a seam, the end, or the capture's scale went uncorroborated. The file is delivered under a plain name, and the support log says best effort.
The capture stopped short of a provable end (a capture limit, or scrolling that stopped), or it found its own end but what it delivered could not be proven: a seam without pixel proof, an end whose evidence was only a guess, or a pair of frames the stitch had to drop. The file carries partial in its own name and an alert says why. When stitching failed outright, there is an alert and no file.
